Kohl's and St. Vincent Keep Kids Safe is a program to spread awareness and education to children, parents and caregivers about bicycle, ATV and car seat safety. The overall purpose of Keep Kids Safe is to prevent the thousands of injuries that occur to children every year.

Helmet Safety Presentations

Kohl's and St. Vincent Keep Kids Safe Helmet Safety presentations are offered to local public and parochial schools. St. Vincent team members teach children about the importance of wearing a helmet when riding a bicycle, scooter, skate board, ATV or when they are playing sports.

Our community events include car seat safety and helmet safety programs at local organization events.

If your organization is hosting a community health and safety event, please call Betsy Tenbarge at 812.485.7450 to find out how your organization can partner with St. Vincent will distribute helmets and fit the helmets on children through the Kohl's Cares Program. If a child does not have a helmet, or their helmet is not the correct size, Kohl's & St. Vincent would like to provide them with a free bicycle helmet through the Kohl's & St. Vincent Keep Kids Safe Program.
