Sue Conner Vauthier Memorial Sponsorship Fund
St. Vincent Health Foundation, in conjunction with the family of Sue Conner Vauthier, has established a nursing scholarship to honor her memory. Sue was a dedicated and valued nurse who was passionate about serving the patients entrusted to her care. She served and cared for patients in St. Vincent ministry from 1978 to 1996 before moving to Gastroenterology Associates in Evansville. While the St. Vincent community mourned the loss of Sue in the spring of 2004, the memory of her smile and Christian witness is still very much a part of our lives.
The Sue Conner Vauthier fund assists nursing students with their continuing education and advanced degrees.
In the legacy of Sue Conner Vauthier, recipients must demonstrate the passion and desire to care for others. They should be Christ-like in their example, witnessing with everyday acts of kindness. Scholarship recipients must demonstrate a financial need and agree to serve St. Vincent for at least one year after receiving financial assistance.
If you would like to make a contribution to the Sue Conner Vauthier Memorial Scholarship Fund, please contact St. Vincent Health Foundation or a member of the Conner family.
